The Taylor County Livestock Association is excited to announce our 2nd annual Farm to Table Dinner benefiting the youth of the Taylor County Livestock Show. Each year youth from both 4-H and FFA exhibit their animals at the County Livestock Show. They have spent months selecting, training and feeding their animals in preparation for the county show. At the conclusion of the show, a percentage of the animals make the sale, where the youth are awarded money for their hard work and prize winning animals.
Ultimately, your help supports a unique educational program in agriculture. You support a program that emphasizes involvement in projects that teach strong morals and values; a program that provides a drug-free environment; and a program that promotes citizenship, leadership and community involvement. Through their involvement, young people learn how to produce food for your table, as well as how to be in business for themselves. The funds raised from this event will encourage youth participation and is a small investment in the future of American agriculture.
